Guess what, blog readers? That’s right: A Dare to Remember is less than a week away!
A Dare to Remember is a campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation—engaging Canadians to raise funds for AIDS in Africa. In powerful acts of solidarity, Canadians across the country are facing their fears, letting their creative juices flow, testing their endurance and mobilizing their communities.
The 2010 edition of A Dare to Remember launches on Tuesday, October 19, and runs until World AIDS Day (December 1).
Pick your Dare and join us on October 19 to announce your Dare to your friends, family, classmates and colleagues, and via Twitter and YouTube. To sign up and start fundraising now, visit adaretoremember.com and click on “Do a Dare.”
Here’s a message from Stephen Lewis about this year’s Dare campaign. After checking out this year’s message, scroll down to watch Stephen perform his dare from 2009—singing with Canadian rock band Arkells live on The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos!
