Choose a Dare - here are 5 great ideas!

Dare to Be Bold
Every day in Africa, women, men and children are pushed to their limits. Here is your chance to stand in solidarity with them. Be daring and do something to challenge yourself: participate in a triathlon, play a violin concerto in public, or live off the grid for a week!

If you're boldly challenging yourself, we dare you to raise $1000.

Dare to Dine
Be deliciously daring with this easy idea. Make dinner for a group of friends and collect donations. Or get your favourite restaurant to donate a percentage of their proceeds to this great cause. The goal is to have a 1,000 dinners across Canada be hosted during the A Dare to Remember week in October, with the funds all going to support grandmothers in sub-Saharan Africa.

Host a dinner to remember and we dare you to raise $250.

Dare to Be Funny

People love to laugh. So here is your opportunity to send some laughter their way in support of a good cause. Wear pajamas for a day, a clown's nose, or your clothes on backwards. Yodel something from the "Sound of Music" in the subway. Get pledges from your friends, family, work colleagues, pastor/rabbi to do any number of silly things in public. Afterall, when it comes to making people laugh, the sky's the limit.

If you've caught the funny bug, we dare you to raise $250.

Dare to Be Healthy

Why wait until New Year's to clean up your fitness act!! Here's a chance to take on all those health improvement challenges you've promised to start on - and raise funds for Africa. Learn to tap dance, try your hand at downward dog, or embrace your inner herbivore and go veggie for a week. Don't forget to collect pledges for your inspiring commitment to get in shape and be healthy.

If you're planning a health craze, we dare you to raise $250.

Dare to Be Kind

An act of kindness can go a long way.  Dare to commit an act of kindness each day for a week and get your friends and family to sponsor you.  Why not lend your decorating talents to a local church, or mow every lawn in your neighbourhood? No matter what the dare, they all help raise funds to turn the tide of AIDS in Africa.  You can act locally, and give globally.

If you're spreading kindness, we dare you to raise $250.
