5th Annual Dare to Wear Love - March 28th, 2014 - Toronto

Dare to Wear Love

Now in its 7th year, Dare to Wear Love has become the fashion event of the year!

Dare to Wear Love is an annual fashion gala and fundraiser, founded by Chris Tyrell and Jim Searle of Hoax Couture. Every year, they challenge 25 of Canada’s top fashion designers — Comrags, Brian Bailey, Lida Baday, David Dixon, among others — to create a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art from six yards of African textiles.

Dare to Wear Love celebrates Canada’s fashion design community and their commitment to social justice by raising awareness of the AIDS epidemic.

Since 2009, over $250,000 has been donated to the Stephen Lewis Foundation through ticket sales, silent auctions, the Dare to Wear Love Challenge, and generous corporate sponsors such as Cineplex Media and BMO Financial Group.

Dare to Wear Love 2017
