6th Annual Dare to Wear Love - May 12th, 2017 - Toronto

Dare to Wear Love

The Fashion Event of the Year!

Dare to Wear Love celebrates Canada’s fashion design community and their commitment to social justice by raising awareness of the global AIDS epidemic. The annual gala fashion show and fundraiser, founded by Chris Tyrell and Jim Searle of Hoax Couture, raises funds in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Dare to Wear Love challenges 25 of Canada’s top fashion designers – Comrags, Brian Bailey, David Dixon, Greta Constantine, and others – to create a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art from six yards of African textiles.

Mark the Dare to Wear Love Gala on your calendar for Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown Toronto. See Dare to Wear Love for more details, ticket information and updates.

What does made-in-Canada mean to you?

 Do you wear Canadian-made clothes?

Do you make your own inspired creations?

Then, Canada’s most fabulous fashion gala, Dare to Wear Love, wants you!

Here’s the Challenge:  How many days can you wear Canadian-made?  A day? A week? A month?

We challenge you to wear Canadian-made and show your style for as many days as you can to raise money and awareness in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation and grassroots organizations working to turn the tide of HIV & AIDS in Africa.

You could win one of four opportunities to walk the runway with Canadian celebs at the Dare to Wear Love Gala on Friday, May 12, 2017, wearing an outfit custom made for you by a top Canadian fashion designer that is yours to keep.

You have until midnight on March 31 to collect donations.

Ready for the challenge? Here’s what you need to do next!

You'll be contacted on Tuesday, April 4 if you are chosen to walk the runway!
