Jonathan Migneault, Sudbury Star
The third annual Dare to Wear Love took place under the tents at Toronto Fashion Week on Friday, March 16, 2012. Once again, Dare to Wear Love showcased the talents of Canada's top fashion designers, with amazing dancers, musicians and celebrity models.
Dare to Wear Love is an annual fashion gala and fundraiser started by 25 top Canadian fashion designers including Hoax Couture, Comrags, Brian Bailey, Lida Baday and David Dixon. In partnership with the Fashion Design Council of Canada, Dare to Wear Love has challenged designers to create unique couture using six yards of African cloth, designs that were then showcased on the runway at Toronto Fashion Week. This innovative and creative platform raises resources and awareness for the Stephen Lewis Foundation and supports the efforts of grassroots organizations.
Support the fashion community in their effort to make a difference. Dare to Make A Difference! Dare to Attend!
