Thousands of people are holding events across Canada to raise awareness about the AIDS epidemic and raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation, which supports community-based oroganizations that are turning the tide of HIV & AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.  

There might be an event happening in your community!  Check out the calendar below to find a local craft sale, participate in a walkathon, attend a concert, or hear Stephen Lewis speak.

UJAMAA GRANDMAS Annual Fabric and Yard Sale

The Ujamaa Grandmas invite you to their annual fabric and yard sale now held on two days, starting on Friday, April 25th at 4:00pm - 7:30pm and Saturday, April 26 from 9:30am to 3:00pm. It's the ultimate green event for recycling yarn and fabric. A

We accept donations of:
  • Unused fabric 1 meter or longer, unless quilting cotton or exceptional pieces
  • Yarns
  • Knitting needles
  • Sewing notions, Thread, Patterns, Embellishments etc.

Donations may be dropped off at Woodcliff United Church Wednesday and Thursday. All proceeds to the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign.
