Thousands of people are holding events across Canada to raise awareness about the AIDS pandemic and raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation, which supports community-based oroganizations that are turning the tide of HIV and AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.
There might be an event happening in your community! Check out the calendar below to find a local craft sale, participate in a walkathon, attend a concert, or hear Stephen Lewis speak.
To find an event hosted by a grandmothers group, please visit the calendar on the Grandmothers Campaign website.
If you are organizing an event, click here to register it with us, so we can support you by posting it to the calendar and sending you materials.

Let's Walk for Africa is a walk of solidarity with the people of Africa and, in particular, the grandmothers who look after children orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
Participants can walk 10km (starts at 9am), 5km (starts at 10am), 2km (starts at 11am) or round the church building (starts at 11.30am) and are asked to make a donation themselves and/or ask people to sponsor them. Last year, some of our grandmothers said it was refreshing to ask their children and grandchildren to sponsor them!
Everyone is welcome. Register on the day. The walk is followed by a bowl of African soup and our Social Justice Sunday Service at 12.30pm.
