Our Work: Easing the Pain of HIV/AIDS in Africa is an introduction to the Foundation’s four areas of work. Narrated by Stephen Lewis, the film highlights the work of grassroots organizations in Africa and also shows what Canadians are doing to help fight the pandemic.
Intended for use at community events, the film comes in 16-minute and 7-minute versions, and features footage from grassroots projects in Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Zambia.

Distribution:
In many places, people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS continue to face stigma and discrimination. For this reason, the film is not intended for distribution or purchase within Africa. The people profiled in the film courageously agreed to share their stories with a North American audience, with the understanding that it would not be shown in their home countries.
Screenings / How to Order the Film:
We hope this film can play an important role in your community activities to help ease the pain of HIV/AIDS in Africa. DVD copies are available on loan for screenings at events.
